Veterans Support

Serving in the military can be one of the most defining experiences in a person’s life. I know this personally from being a former royal marines commando myself. It brings strength, resilience, and a deep sense of duty—but it can also leave lasting emotional and psychological impacts.

Many veterans carry unseen wounds from their service, including trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and difficulties adjusting to civilian life.

Veterans counselling provides a safe, respectful space to process those experiences, navigate life after service, and find renewed meaning and purpose. Seeking counselling is not a sign of weakness—it’s a courageous step toward healing.

Veterans counselling honours your experiences while helping you manage the challenges that may have come with them. Whether you’re struggling with trauma, trying to reconnect with your family, or simply feeling stuck, support is available.

You’ve served others. Now let us serve you—with compassion, respect, and understanding.

My Own Experience

I have worked with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma (including PTSD), abandonment (such as experiences of growing up in single-parent households or being orphaned/fostered), substance misuse, relationship challenges, and grief or loss.

As a former Royal Marines Commando and veteran, I have a particular passion for supporting those currently serving or who have served in the armed forces. I understand how difficult it can be to find someone who truly “gets it” — and I aim to provide a space where you feel understood, respected, and supported.

Many of the challenges I help others with are ones I’ve faced myself, which deepens my empathy and strengthens the therapeutic relationship I offer. Counselling isn’t just my work — it’s one of my greatest passions, bringing me a strong sense of purpose and belonging.

I’m committed to ongoing professional growth and regularly undertake further training and development. This allows me to provide the most up-to-date, informed, and compassionate care for you as my client.
